Reboot.

Hey anyone who may stumble upon this old blog. This post is to inform you that I'm rebooting the blog on tumblr.

My new blog can be found at http://coolblueflameoriginals.tumblr.com and will feature the whole spectrum of my creative pursuits. This will include art, photography, music, and more. So yeah, if you're still reading this, head over there and take a look.

Storyboard Project

Done in oil pastels for art class.

Also, I set up a little website for my whole second year art portfolio. If you're interested, you can check it out here. Be warned, it contains some nudity. It was done really quickly and I used some cheap html tricks to make it work. Also, sorry for the slow load times, I didn't have time to make thumbnails for everything. Also, I'm still gonna be posting some of the stuff that's on there, so you might end up seeing stuff twice in the near future.

Done for art class, it took longer than you can imagine to get these 15 frames to look more or less right. They were drawn one by one in openCanvas, and then put into flash to make it animate and loop.

Okay, so I have a lot of art, and a humongous lack of updates, so I'm going to try to updating this thing at LEAST once every three days again. Even if I don't draw something cool once every three days, I haven't posted anything for so long that I probably have a good month's worth of stuff. CSSS Robot Logo!

Here is a logo I did for the CSSS! It's apparently the one we're going with for our main logo now. I have another pretty awesome CSSS logo that I'll post as well once I get around to cleaning it up. Also, lots of sketches, so that'll be up here once I get a chance to scan some things. Soon hopefully!

Well, I've been completely neglecting this thing lately, due to lack of time and drawings. Anyhow, I finally got a bunch of pictures put together, and I figure I'll just post them all at once, because I tend to forget to update this consistently if I just post one at a time. I may post a few more in the near future, if I get around to scanning/taking/drawing them. :)

Something new(ish)

Well, school has hit me like a ton of bricks. This can explain the huge lack of updates. Here's something I cooked up real quick to get that last image off of the top. Hopefully I'll be able to get some more stuff on here soonish.

Bus Trip Memoirs

A few weeks ago I went to PAX in Seattle. We took the bus from Calgary, which ended up taking somewhere around 21 hours. My DS battery soon died (I'd forgotten to charge it before we left) and I had a lot of time on my hands. At one point we saw a bear on the side of the road. When the bus emptied a bit, I got lucky enough to get two seats, and have a sleep. It wasn't at all comfortable however, and due to an air conditioner over my head, I was getting heavily dripped on from condensation on the window whenever we went around a corner. These were both done on a bumpy bus along the way there. Oh, and expect to see doodles pretty much every day again, but don't expect quality :p

Stray

Well, I've been playing around with opencanvas a bit lately. It's awesome. Also, free (well, the old one is). Anyhow, I figured I should post something new on here, so I did a quick ~30 minute sketch. It's very, very rough, but because of the color, it's better than a lot of the stuff I used to post on here, so here it is.

EDIT:...looks like opencanvas made things a lot darker when it exported them...
