Warm weather is good!

It's been getting warmer lately and today was really warm so this seems fitting... I think it looked a little bit better on paper but I think this one would look good colored... maybe after I finish doodling my friends.

Annie is the greatest. She sent me her wicked awesome rendition of my turtle power picture. The e-mail in which I received it said:

"I HEAR TURTLES ARE GREEN"

Stunningly good isn't it.

Anyhow, sorry to whoever's out there for the lack of updates. I'm busy... very busy... crazy ass having to do three 5-hour calculus tests in three weeks and I still don't know how to do everything even though the first one is next monday busy. I have sketched a few new things while daydreaming during boring lectures and what not, but I'll scan them when the craziness dies down.

Graham's TMNT

This is Graham's coloring of the Ninja Turtles. He did this using only 6 different colors of crayons during chem. Quite impressive I say. Make like Graham and color the turtles! We can have a good old fashioned coloring contest... all 3 of you...

P.S. I would highly enjoy if people colored the lines and sent me a copy (or scan) of it. Graham did an awesome coloring job of it when I gave him one in chem using only 6 crayons, and that really amused me, so it would be sweet if there was a bunch. I'll post Graham's coloring job tomorrow if I get a chance to scan it.

Drew this in history. Graham says I need to draw him Mikey so I'll prolly end up trying to draw them all. Maybe I'll put them all into one picture and color them after ;)

Anyways, I saw TMNT on Saturday. I liked it. A lot. I dunno if it was necessarily because of the story, because thinking back it wasn't very badass or anything, but the CG was amazing and oddly enough a bunch of the movie's voice actors have been the voices to some of my favorite game characters. After figuring out where I heard Leo's voice half way through the movie, I checked it out on the IMDB. Here are the most interesting things (which are probably only interesting to me :P)

-The guy who voiced Leo voiced the main character in my favorite game of all time (Tidus from Final Fantasy X), and he voiced Ratchet in all of the Ratchet and Clank games except the first one. He also voiced a few characters in Kingdom Hearts II.

-The guy who voiced Mikey (oddly enough his actual name is Mikey Kelly) voiced Ratchet in the first Ratchet and Clank game... funny how two of the turtles have voiced Ratchet.

-The guy who voiced Raph voiced Hades in God of War, as well as Vossler in Final Fantasy XII

-The guy who voiced Colonel Santino, who I suppose could be considered the main "bad guy" voiced Wakka and Kimahri in Final Fantasy X, Marcus from Gears of War, and a few minor characters in Final Fantasy XII

....Yep, I actually found that stuff interesting. Weird hey?

Kingdom-Heartsness

There's been a lot of Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix stuff around the internet lately. I want it. Stupid Japan gets all the cool stuff. Anyhow, I was doodling in class as usual and this came out. I'm not sure if I was originally trying to draw an actual character or not but it doesn't really look like one. TMNT drawing definitely coming soon. And maybe an Anis or Kieran pic.

Oh, and P.S. I didn't win the guitar hero tourney, but I got a $20 gift certificate for the movies :P
